DeSoto National Memorial commemorates the landing and legacy of the 1539 expedition of Hernando DeSoto. Visitors Center open daily 9 a.m.. - 5 p.m.
Directions: De Soto National Memorial is located at the northern terminus of 75th St. N.W., Bradenton. From I-75 follow S.R. 64 W. (also Manatee Avenue), for approx. 12 mi. to 75th St. W. Turn right (north) onto 75th St. W. and proceed 2 mi. to the park entrance and the terminus of 75th St. From I-275 Exit 1, follow U.S.-19 into Bradenton. Turn west onto S.R. 64, and follow above.
